MTS: Unarmed and Blunt Object Defense

Violent encounters are often tense, uncertain, and rapidly evolving. While the MTS’s main design is to afford protection from lethal threats such a firearms, you may find yourself confronted with an “unarmed attack.” “Unarmed” means that the assailant is attempting to attack you with their personal weapons, such as punches or kicks. It is important to remember that at any moment and unarmed attacker may suddenly present a lethal threat (handgun, knife, etc). Similarly, an attacker posing a lethal threat can rapidly transition to an attack with personal weapons such as punches or kicks. In this lesson we will cover how to use the MTS to defend yourself against both unarmed and blunt object threats.
